Bottle Gourd Curry


Sorakaya Kura , Aanapakaya Kura



















Ingredients :

Bottle Gourd 1 small
Onion 1 small (chopped)
Green Chilies 8
Curry Leaves 6
Ginger garlic paste 1/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves 2 tbsps (chopped)
Milk 1/2 cup
Salt as per taste
Oil 1 tbsp

Preparation :

Peel the bottle gourd, chop into 1 inch size pecies.

Heat oil in pan, add chopped onion, green chilies,curry leaves, ginger
garlic paste, turmeric powder fry for 2 mins, add bottle gourd pecies,
salt and cook on medium low flame for 10 - 15 mins.until the pecies
becomes tender (do not add water).

Add milk, coriander leaves, mix it well and cook for
more 5 mins turn off the flame.

Now Bottle gourd curry is ready.

Serve it with chapati, roti ,rice etc

It takes rougly 20 mins to cook.

Makes 4 - 5 servings.

Suggestions :

Add 2 pinches of sugar if bottle gourd is taste less.
