Bendi Fry

Lady's Finger Fry , Bendakaya Vepudu




Ingredients :

Lady's Finger 1/2 kg
Green Chilly 8 (chopped)
Onion 1 medium (chopped)
Curry Leaves 6

Cashew Nuts 8
Cumin Seeds 1/4 tsp
Mustard Seeds 1/4 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 1/4 tsp

Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil 2 tbsp

Preparation :

Wash lady's finger , drain and wipe with a cloth and
chop them .

Now heat oil in a pan , add cashew nuts ,cumin seeds ,
mustard seeds stir it and fry for few seconds .
Add chopped green chilies, curry leaves and onion .
Let it fry for a min then add ginger garlic paste and
turmeric powder stir it and add salt to it.

Now add chopped bendi to it . stir it regularly but don't
mess it up , stir carefully . Fry till it cooks on
medium-low flame.Normally it takes 15 - 20 min.

Note : Add more oil if necessary
